ABOUT

I have started a private practice in Pretoria East, practicing general adult psychiatry (only outpatients), after a 10-year stint at the University of Pretoria (2008 – 2018), followed by six years at Vista Clinic, Centurion (2018 – 2024). Central to my thinking is a person-oriented approach, that embraces both medication and psychotherapy. The human sciences have always been a focus point in my life, and I have an extensive background in psychology, philosophy, religion and spirituality, as well as an additional training in insight-oriented psychotherapy.
